Oregon State University Community Relations Supervisor
The Transportation Services department at Oregon State University is seeking a Community Relations Supervisor. This position is responsible for community engagement, and will advise and guide Transportation Services staff through direct and indirect customer interactions. He or she will monitor the public image of the department, advancing its goals and priorities through development and implementation of transportation-focused communication plans, outreach, marketing, and relationship building with key partners. Reporting to the Director of Transportation Services, this position supervises the primary office staff who perform activities at the public service counter and through phone calls and e-mails. The Community Relations Supervisor will guide employees’ interactions with the OSU community with an eye for convenience, fairness, and efficiency. The Supervisor assumes the lead role in responding to elevated customer concerns or complaints. Through digital, social, and print media, he or she will create and monitor clear, effective, contemporary, transportation-focused communication materials. With limited oversight from the director, he or she will independently plan and execute projects that support office functions or improved customer experiences. FT Salary $41,664 to $70,704 depending upon experience.
